NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION + SELF FORGIVING + FIERCELY COURAGEOUS

An Ancient Practice for an Anxious New Age: A Workshop for Healing and Transformation

All levels welcome, no prior experience is necessary.

A Somatic Solstice Workshop for Nervous System Healing for the Pressure of Our Times

In a world asking us to move faster, hold more, and withstand the pressure of the times, this workshop offers space to slow down, soften, discharge stress, and reconnect with the wisdom of the body.

As we approach the solstice, the turning point of the season invites us into reflection, release, and renewal. Nature itself begins to slow, and this workshop honours that ancient rhythm through movement, shaking, breath, sound, rest, and embodied ritual.

Why Shaking Works

Somatic shaking—also called therapeutic tremoring—is instinctive, natural, and powerful.
Just like animals shake off adrenaline after a threat, you can too.

It helps to:

  • Release held tension and stress

  • Burn off adrenaline and cortisol

  • Shift from survival mode to restoration

  • Reclaim your sense of aliveness

  • Activate the parasympathetic nervous system (your “calm and connect” response)

This workshop provides a supportive space to heal, transform, and expand your capacity for resilience and connection. Whether you’re seeking to deepen your practice or explore the intersection of somatics and felt sense, this experience offers tools and insights to align more deeply with your authentic self.

What to Expect:

This workshop is experiential, gentle, and deeply embodied.

Practices may include:

• Somatic movement and therapeutic shaking
• Breathwork and vagus nerve toning practices
• Nervous system education and polyvagal-informed tools
• Meditation, mantra, and grounding practices
• Sound, rhythm, and restorative rest
• Reflection and integration practices

• Finish with delicious nectar and treats

You are always encouraged to honour your own body, pace, and capacity throughout the workshop.

We will be embarking on a journey filled with breath, song, ceremony and sound to remember where we came from and why we are here today.

Sound Healing

The sound of the sacred Gong: a potent ally in this endeavour gifting us with a heavenly feeling of lightness and calmness allowing us to merge with our Infinite Self. Gongs change time and locality. Skilfully played, gongs provide the entry point to recovery, self-recovery, and create a different platform for existence. Healing comes from inside, consciousness changes from our core. It is from a cellular level and from the depths of our mind and soul that we release the chaos and confusion within. As we clear from within we attain balance, clarity and wisdom. This inner alignment creates harmony in the outer world.

Nourishment as Medicine

A delicious, nourishing treats nd a healing winter solstice nectar will be lovingly served—to nourish the soul and indulge the senses.

Gathering around food is not just a treat—it’s a practice of grounding, connection, and comfort.

Sharing warmth and stillness with others over a meal is an essential part of co-regulation—reminding our nervous systems that we’re not alone.

This simple ritual of shared nourishment will gently support and deepen our embodied practice together.

All levels welcome, no prior experience is necessary.

Please don't hesitate to call or email with any questions.
